Auto Lock & House offer a mobile auto locksmiths service catering for the motorist that has lost or broken their keys, or has been locked out off their vehicle. Based in Dublin we also cover Meath (Navan etc) and the surrounding counties on an emergency basis, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and all of Ireland (subject to longer delay/increased callout fee as travelling from a Dublin base). Our locksmiths are trained to the highest standards and are qualified in the art of lock-picking and entry techniques, making keys, code removing, replacing and re-coding of vehicle locks.
Customers that are stranded with key or lock problems lost or broken keys are expertly dealt with by our trained locksmiths. We have invested in the latest transponder technology equipment operating from well equipped vehicles. Wherever possible, our locksmiths use key blanks to cut keys at the roadside, and carry the required key-cutting and transponder-coding machinery to make this possible. This often eliminates the need for costly recovery vehicle and main car dealer callout and pricing.
It should be noted that not all vehicle keys can be provided on the roadside as some manufacturers need a pin code to access the engine control unit (ECU) before new transponder keys can be programmed.

Please be aware that our locksmiths adhere to the highest standards of service and duty of care towards the public, including the recommended professional Codes of Conduct and Practice of the Associated Locksmiths of Ireland. In line with that, to uphold the law, and to protect the security of our clients and the public we will always require reasonable evidence of ownership of property before provision of locksmith services, which may include documentary evidence of identity, proof of title, substantiation of identity by third parties, etc. Where no such evidence is forthcoming, or we have reasonable suspicion that an attempt is being made to gain entry to a vehicle or property fraudulently, we reserve the right to withdraw our service and we will in no circumstances provide assistance or services to enable possible unauthorised access. Certain lock and key systems are protected by law and replacement or extra keys will not be duplicated without the correct authorisation. The company is obliged to operate these authorisation procedures to comply with the law and in the best interests of the public. |
